The Great Barrier Reef

 
More than two million people visit the reef each and every year make more than billion in tourism dollars, making tourism a major earner for the north-eastern Australian economy. Tourists are accepted to the reef system by more than 500 commercial vessels, and tourism is allowed throughout near all the Park.Among the natural wonder of the world, the Great Barrier Reef off the east coast of Australia is the one which is the world’s largest coral reef. It has something different that being placed in the World tradition as well as the National tradition lists.

 

The Great Barrier Reef area be plentiful with wildlife, including dugong and green turtles, different kind of dolphins and whales, more than 1500 species of fish,4000 types of mollusc and more than 200 species of bird life.Tourism can moreover have a negative crash, with fragile corals broken by reef walking, dropped anchors or by boats dropping fuel and other sorts of pollution. Even the number of people in the water with the associated run-off of sweat and suntan lotions may well have a negative impact on the fragile reef background.

 

Of the many hundreds of different kinds of coral growing on the reef, the Staghorn (antler type) is one of the most common. The Great Barrier Reef is a true wonderland of color and beauty.Corals make up the various reefs and cays. These are the basis for the great variety of sea and animal life in the Reef.Coral consists of individual coral polyps - tiny live creatures which join together to form colonies. Each polyp lives inside a shell of aragonite, a type of calcium carbonate which is the hard shell we recognise as coral.

 
The Great Barrier Reef is the only living organic collective visible from Earth's orbit. Human activity in the Reef areas has led to enlarged contaminant and the reef has suffered damage. Protecting the Reef is the responsibility of the Marine Park Authority. In 2003, the previous Australian Government and Queensland Governments, in partnership with a wide range of industry and community groups, developed the Reef Water Quality Protection ReefPlan (the Reef Plan) as a combined effort to shield the Reef.

Surfers Paradise

Surfers Paradise is a commune on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. At the 2006 Census, Surfers Paradise had a population of 18,501.Colloquially well-known as 'Surfers', the suburb has many high-rise apartment building and a spacious surf beach. The feature of the central business district is Cavill Mall, which runs through the shopping precinct. Cavill Avenue, named after Jim Cavill, an early hotel owner, is one of the busiest shopping flooring in Queensland, and the centre of activity for night life. Surfers Paradise's high-rise buildings are the best known feature of the  Gold Coast's skyline; Burleigh and Coolangatta also have skyscrapers, though shorter and smaller quantity.

Surfers Paradise beach is world famous. Of that there is no doubt.Some visitors, particularly those on commercial tours, who come properly dressed. Not wanting to miss the moment they take off their shoes and socks, roll up their suit pants and for a moment it doesn't matter that their good clothes get wet with sea water! It just proves how special it is.

Surfers beach is the centre of various events. Not just surfing and ocean events, but events held on the beach such as recital and other great chase. During schoolies week in November each and every year Surfers beach has a division cordoned off for the sole use of the schoolies so they can enjoy their special leisure as safely as feasible.

Royal Exhibition Building

                                                             

The Royal Exhibition Building was build in Melbourne's Carlton Gardens in 1879 and 1880 for the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition. It consequently hosted Melbourne's second international exhibition, the 1888 Centennial International Exhibition. It is one of the great enduring monuments to the International Exhibition group, which began in the mid-19th century.

The Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens were inscribed on the World Heritage list on 1 July 2004, becoming the first building in Australia to achieve World Heritage listing. Today, the Royal Exhibition Building is a campus of Museum Victoria and the gardens are managed by the City of Melbourne.

With its meticulously-restored opulent interior, expansive galleries and soaring dome, the Great Hall continues to offer a magnificent setting for trade shows, fairs and cultural and community events.
