Surfers Paradise


Surfers Paradise is a commune on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. At the 2006 Census, Surfers Paradise had a population of 18,501.Colloquially well-known as 'Surfers', the suburb has many high-rise apartment building and a spacious surf beach. The feature of the central business district is Cavill Mall, which runs through the shopping precinct. Cavill Avenue, named after Jim Cavill, an early hotel owner, is one of the busiest shopping flooring in Queensland, and the centre of activity for night life. Surfers Paradise's high-rise buildings are the best known feature of the  Gold Coast's skyline; Burleigh and Coolangatta also have skyscrapers, though shorter and smaller quantity.
Surfers Paradise beach is world famous. Of that there is no doubt.Some visitors, particularly those on commercial tours, who come properly dressed. Not wanting to miss the moment they take off their shoes and socks, roll up their suit pants and for a moment it doesn't matter that their good clothes get wet with sea water! It just proves how special it is.
Surfers beach is the centre of various events. Not just surfing and ocean events, but events held on the beach such as recital and other great chase. During schoolies week in November each and every year Surfers beach has a division cordoned off for the sole use of the schoolies so they can enjoy their special leisure as safely as feasible.
